Scouts share skills at Fidrych Farm

Northborough – Participating in the opening ceremony of the sixth annual Fidrych Farm Camporee, held Oct. 22, are members of Boy Scout Troop 101 Senior Patrol: (l to r) Matt Pfannenstiel, Mike Ryan, Justin Covino, Richard Thompson, Tom Hamilton and Dan Cross. The troop invited Northborough's three Cub Scout Webelo Packs and introduced them to Boy Scout skills with various activity stations. Parents joined about 130 scouts for dinner, which was judged for cooking and cleanup skills. The Camporee is held in memory of Mark Fidrych, a former Major League Baseball player and Northborough resident, whose family has continued his offer of the farm for the scouts’ event.
