Northborough – The Northborough Senior Center at 119 Bearfoot Rd. will be open Saturday, Nov.19 for the second annual Country Store Fair. Sponsored by the Friends of the Northborough Senior Center, the fair runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and admission is free.
The public is invited to browse an array of baked goods, jellies and jams, and other foodstuffs, as well as handcrafted gift items, holiday goods and other surprises from Grandma's attic. The Country Café will serve lunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Fair will also offer an opportunity to order engraved bricks for the second phase of installation in the Friendship Brickway, adjacent to the Senior Center's main entrance. As a fund-raiser for the Friends of the Senior Center, the bricks commemorate people, special events, and family memories.
The Friends invite the public to shop and take time to enjoy lunch served in the large dining room with sweeping views of surrounding woods. All funds raised by the Friends support the Northborough Council on Aging and the Senior Center.
