Northborough – Only a few more weeks are left to purchase tickets to the “Hot, Hot, Hot” Dance and Auction sponsored by the Friends of Northborough Recreation, scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 19, to benefit their summer camp scholarship fund.

There will be items to bid on, music to dance to, and, of course, hot appetizers, along with desserts, to dine on. A real diamond will go home with the winner of Discover the Diamond.

The event will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. at Acacia at Indian Meadows, in Westborough. It will include a live and a silent auction. Items up for bid include Patriots tickets; a plasma television; vacation rentals; theater tickets; museum memberships; photography sessions; and contractor, plumbing and electrical services. A complete and up-to-date list of auction items and sponsors can be viewed at Friends of Northborough Recreation's website at http://www.friendsofnorthboroughrec.org/DanceAuction.html.

In addition, a cash bar, appetizers, desserts and the energetic and enthusiastic disc jockey Paul Madden will entertain all evening. Dress is chic casual.

Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased from Lowe's Variety and Meat Market at 255 West Main St. or at Northborough Recreation Department at 63 Main St. Checks should be made payable to Friends of Northborough Recreation.

The mission of Friends of Northborough Recreation is to raise needed funds to help send Northborough children (grades Kindergarten through eight) from families with financial hardships to the Northborough Recreation's summer camp. The nonprofit group was formed in 2010.
