Shrewsbury cheer team qualifies for N.E. Regionals
Shrewsbury – The Shrewsbury Pop Warner Pee Wee cheer team took second place in the statewide Qualifier Competition at the Mass Mutual Building in Springfield Nov. 5. The team will now move on to the N.E. Regionals at the DCU in Worcester Saturday, Nov. 19. The team consists of 27 local girls led by their head coach Amy Faletra and two assistant coaches, Lisa Whitcomb and Jackie Fashjian. Team members include: Caroline Conti, Katerina Loulourgas, Millaina Fashjian, Mary Faletra, Isabella McVane, Rachel Oliver, Sarah Pfeifle, Emily Daley, Jenna Merendino, Riley Carroll, Olivia Perron, Veronica DeSousa, Krista Lotane, Adrianna Loulourgas, Anna Sposato, Kasey Cooney, Megan Whitcomb, Karlie Sundeen, Catherine Holland, Ryan Shea, Krystal Melendez, Sarah Bicalho, Salina Boucher, Teagan Holmes, Elizabeth Fernandez, Caleigh Weafer and Erin Mahoney.
