Marlborough takes the State Championship

Undefeated (24-0) Marlborough faced a very strong Melrose High School (23-2) team for the state championship. After losing the first game (22-25), the Marlborough Panthers came back strongly, just nipping the Melrose Lady Red Raiders in the second game (25-23), decisively winning the third (25-13), and taking the final game (25-20) to cap an undefeated season and win the state title.
