Westborough – The Westborough Public Schools Fine Arts Department is sponsoring a number of concerts throughout the month of December that will feature school performance groups at both the High School and Gibbons Middle School.
The first two performances will be held at the Gibbons Middle School Tuesday, Dec. 6 and Thursday, Dec. 8. The Dec. 6 concert will feature the Gibbons concert band, choirs and jazz Ensemble. The Gibbons School wind ensemble and orchestras will perform during the Dec. 8 concert. The concerts start at 7:30 p.m. and are open to the public free of charge.
Westborough High School will host concerts Tuesday, Dec. 13; Thursday, Dec. 15; and Tuesday, Dec. 20. The Dec. 13 concert will feature the contemporary a cappella groups and the high school chamber singers, while the Dec. 15 concert will feature the wind ensemble, concert band, and jazz ensembles. The concert on Dec. 20 will be for the orchestras and choirs. All concerts start at 7:30 p.m. and admission is $5 per person. Senior citizens who are residents of Westborough are admitted free of charge to all High School performances and productions.
