Worcester – Saturday, Dec. 10, at 4 p.m., the Master Singers of Worcester will present the annual Boar's Head Festival. The event will take place at Wesley United Methodist Church, 114 Main St., Worcester. The snow date is Sunday, Dec. 11, at 4 p.m.
Celebrate the winter solstice and welcome the yuletide with this Renaissance-styled pageant. Brass and organ will accompany traditional carols as well as modern and ancient choral music for the season. This year's guest performers will include the Worcester Children's Chorus, Great Meadows Morris Dance Troupe, the Shrewsbury Ringers and an armored guard from Higgins Armory.
Tickets are $25 general admission, $20 for seniors and students, and $10 for children 16 and under at the door. For tickets, mail a check payable to Master Singers of Worcester for $25 for each ticket to P.O. Box 7203 Worcester, MA 01605. The tickets will be mailed or held at the door.
