Creating holiday gifts
Southborough – First-grader Caroline Esten wears a tie-dyed T-shirt she designed as she paints pieces that will become a hanging mobile during the Nov. 29 session of Holiday Arts and Crafts, an after-school program offered by Southborough Recreation for students of the Mary Finn and Woodward elementary schools. Throughout the five-week course, art instructor Lanting Huang-Truong taught students in grades one through three how to create items that can be given as gifts to friends and family.
