Marlborough – Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 1:30 p.m., the Marlborough Senior Center will present a program with Sovereign Bank on protecting your identity and simplifying your banking question. Yvette Mesmar, Sovereign Bank branch manager, will be speaking to seniors about identity theft as well as scams that target seniors.
Learn how to protect yourself from having your Social Security number, bank account, PIN number and other vulnerable information from being stolen. If identity is stolen what do you do next? Also, Mesmar will share with the audience on how to protect your personal financial interests. She will address questions on the pro and cons of rate shopping and any other concerns you may have about your own banking needs.
