Hudson – “Alice: Tales of a Curious Girl,” a classic coming-of-age story turned on its head, will be performed Saturday, Dec. 17 and Sunday, Dec. 18 at Hudson High School.

The characters of Lewis Carol's classic masterpieces “Alice in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass” come to life in this energetic play as an ensemble cast of 8th and 9th-graders at Hudson High School misguide Alice through the two worlds imagined and re-imagined through the years. Alice attempts to remember her lessons, mind her manners and, above all, keep her temper while the absurdities of the English language and the tough dualities of growing up get in her way. The whole family will enjoy this funny, scary, sad and hopeful tale of Alice, a curious girl.

The Dec. 17 performance will be at 7 p.m., while the Dec. 18 performance begins at 2 p.m. in the Intel Mini Theatre at Hudson High School, 69 Brigham St.. Tickets are $7. For more information, call 1-978-567-6250.
