People help people at ‘Evening of Giving’Marlborough – Lobster bisque is served to guests by Melissa Striharsky, the manager of dining and event services at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury during the 22nd annual Evening of Giving, held Dec. 8 at Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel. Guests sampled an assortment of international cuisine and desserts donated by over 30 area eateries. Proceeds go to Roland's House, the Marlborough-Hudson homeless shelter.

 

 

 

People help people at ‘Evening of Giving’Guests were encouraged to bring items such as toiletries and socks to be donated to Roland's House, which were collected as a community service project by National Honor Society members, all juniors: (l to r) Laura Young and Lauren Priess of Hudson High School, and Valerie Enge, Kathleen Finnegan and Devan Egan of Marian High School in Framingham.
