Hudson – Janice A. Moore, 63, a lifelong resident of Hudson, died Friday, Dec. 16, 2011 at MetroWest Medical Center, Framingham Union Hospital.

Born in Marlborough and raised in Hudson, daughter of the late Ralph L. and Alice M. (Blake) Moore, she attended local schools and was a 1966 graduate of Hudson High School.

Mrs. Moore was employed by the former Zayre Corp. in Framingham as a buyer for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts and puzzles in her spare time and was an avid Red Sox fan. She was a member of the Magnolia Rebekah Lodge in Hudson and past president of Rebekah Assembly of Mass. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Hudson.

She is survived by her three siblings, Arthur Moore and his wife Dianne and Barbara Moore, both of Hudson, and Marilyn Haynes and her husband William of Barre. She also leaves her five loving nephews.

A funeral service, celebrated by Pastor Michelle Grube, will be held Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 9 a.m., at the United Methodist Church, 34 Felton St., Hudson. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery of Harvard. Calling hours will be held Monday, Dec. 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc., 50 Central St., Hudson. The Rebekah Lodge will conduct their ritual Monday evening, at 7 p.m., at the funeral home.
