Westborough – The residents of Beaumont Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center at Westborough enjoyed a visit from Barn Babies on Dec. 22.
Barn Babies is a traveling barn that brings baby animals to places such as daycares and nursing homes for a nice dose of pet therapy.
Bunnies, chickens, a little potbellied pig, kittens and puppies all wrapped in blankets enjoyed the affection of the residents while two diapered baby goats entertained their captive audience. There was no shortage of waiting arms or soft laps for these friendly animals.
According to Ari Shuris, Public Relations Specialist for Beaumont, “These cozy small farm animals spread some holiday warmth to the residents. Visits from Barn Babies are always a big hit!”
As you can see from these photos and video, the visit was a big success.
