Oak Middle School “Campaign for Kindness” event to focus on boysShrewsbury – This January, Oak Middle School continues its initiatives to combat bullying by “Changing the Conversation,” which helps students develop positive ways to relate to others and to impact the school culture and community.

All families are invited to attend a free motivational speech by Paul Phillips, head basketball coach at Clark University. He will talk about what it means to “Make a Difference” through your own character, in your school community, and through contributions to the global community.

The evening event is planned for Thursday, Jan. 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., in the Oak Middle School auditorium. School families are asked to go to Powerschool to get tickets, while community members can RSVP to [email protected].
