Marlborough – Julie J. Shepherd, 46, died Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 at Newton-Wellesley Hospital following an illness of several months. She was the wife of Brian A. Shepherd.
Born July 21, 1965 in Wyandotte, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Wilma Wigent. She grew up in Taylor, Michigan and received her bachelor's degree from NC Wesleyan College. She married Brian Shepherd April 21, 1990 in Dearborn, Michigan.
Mrs. Shepherd's many passions in life included scrapbooking, tennis, travel, family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Benjamin and Maxwell. Her siblings include the late Cheryl Pongratz, Gayle Ingram, Harold Wigent and Catherine Wigent. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 7, at 12 p.m., at the Martha-Mary Chapel of Longfellow's Wayside Inn, Wayside Inn Road (Route 20), Sudbury. The Reverend Barbara Williamson, Rector of St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church of Sudbury, will officiate.
