Southborough – W. Marie (Donnelly) Scott, a resident of Southborough for 45 years, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, surrounded by her family. She was a graduate of Wellesley High School and Chandler Business School.
Mrs. Scott enjoyed mah jongg, word searches and cooking for her family. She was an active communicant at St. Matthew Church of Southborough and enjoyed participating in the many activities of the Southborough Meadows community.
She is survived by her children, Denise Franks of Grafton, Charles Scott and his wife Lori of Upton, and Jeffrey Scott of Southborough; six grandchildren, Samantha, Victoria and Nicholas Franks, Kayla and Kevin Scott, and Madison Scott; her sister, Denise Cronin and her husband Paul of Holliston; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Jan. 8, from 2 to 6 p.m., at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St., Southborough. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 9, at 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Church, Highland Street in Southborough. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery of Waltham.
