Algonquin scores win
Region – Algonquin Regional High School's (ARHS) Dylan Connelly (#11, left) unleashes a shot on goal past Westborough High School's (WHS) Conor Doyle (#23, right) during Boroughs Cup action Dec. 17. ARHS hosted WHS for the boys ice hockey Boroughs Cup consolation game at the Northstar Rink in Westborough. WHS jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period and ARHS came back to within one in the second. Both teams scored in the third period and, with six seconds remaining, WHS added an empty-net goal to ultimately defeat ARHS, 4-2.
