Hudson – Alice M. Doucette, 82, died Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012 at Marlborough Hospital. She was the beloved wife to the late Lubin Doucette.

Born and raised in Lexington, daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Silver) Moniz, she attended local schools and was employed as a manager for many years by the former Joule Power Co in Boxborough until her retirement. She was a longtime resident of Hudson who enjoyed playing bingo, poker with friends and attending yard sales in her spare time.

She is survived by her four children, Judith Butler of Clinton, Gerald Doucette of Clinton, Sharon Doucette of Hudson and Joanne Doucette of Clinton; her five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her many siblings.

Family and friends may attend a calling hour Saturday, Jan. 14, from 11 a.m. to noon, at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson, followed by a celebration of life. Burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
