Region – The Pro Musica Youth Chorus is accepting new members to be a part of their 25th anniversary season. The chorus provides a unique opportunity for boys and girls in grades 3 through 12 to develop their voices and musicianship.
Under the direction of Jan Patterson, the chorus meets on Mondays, beginning at 6:30 p.m., in the chorus room (C110) at Hudson High School. A rehearsal was held Jan. 9 and subsequent rehearsals will be held Jan. 23 and 30.
Boys and girls who love to sing will learn enjoyable, challenging music in the folk, multicultural and classical traditions. Members pay a participation fee. Assisting the chorus is Stan Hanson, accompanist and Sarah Worrest, assistant. The Youth Chorus has public concerts scheduled for May 20 and June 20.
