Marlborough – Eloise C. (Grenier) Martin, 80, died Monday night, Jan. 9, 2012, at Marlborough Hospital after a short period of failing health.
She was born in Marlborough, the daughter of the late Catherine Grenier, and lived in Hudson for the last 60 years. She was employed by Specialized Plastics in Hudson for 30 years working in many different jobs.
Mrs. Martin was an avid reader and knitter, enjoyed playing bingo and loved to watch NASCAR.
She is survived by her sons, Walter Martin Jr. of Hudson, Craig Martin of Clinton, and Scott Martin of Berlin; a daughter, Susan Martin of Hudson,; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Wayne Martin.
Her funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 14, at 11 a.m., at the William R. Short and Son Funeral Home (www.shortfuneral.com), 95 West Main St., Marlborough. Burial will be held at a later date. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Saturday morning from 9 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
