Southborough – A wave of green flooded the halls of Southborough's schools today as a show of support for the family of 13-year-old Eric Green. The Trottier Middle School student passed away suddenly Thursday morning of complications stemming from a seizure disorder.
The idea to wear green to honor the seventh-grader came from his classmates. Algonquin Regional High School (ARHS) students followed the lead set by the Trottier students and donned green in force as well.
A group of ARHS students made a poster which was then signed – in green – by dozens of students. It will be presented to the Green family as a show of support.
Eric played trumpet in the school band and also in the elite Big Band group. He also played lacrosse. His siblings are students at ARHS. His brother, Alex, is a freshman and his sister, Kristy, is a senior.
