Hudson High School improv comedy troupe performs Jan. 20 – 22Hudson – Jan. 20 to 22, the Hudson High School Drama Department will present a live comedy show by Argyle Shoes, the student improvisational comedy group. The comedy troupe is composed of 15 students from grades 9 through 12, and is led by the lone senior Mark Terra-Salomao and upperclassmen Laura Girard, John McClean, Kyah Eichholz, Heleena DiMare, Jenn Hureau, Sadie Tremblay, Alyssa Russell, and Erika Civitarese.

The three shows performed during this weekend will be packed full of improvisational comedy games made popular by the television show Who's Line is it Anyway, the famed Upright Citizens Brigade, and other amateur improve troupes from across the country. Other underclassmen in the troupe include tenth-graders Nick Allan, Jack Colaianni, Jeremy Saunders, and Cody Grimm, and ninth-graders Teddy Waszazak and Kayleigh Kenney.

Bring your family, a sense of humor, and an obscure object that you have lying around your home or car (for the game Object-Prov) to any one or all of the three shows Jan. 20, at 7 p.m.; Jan. 21, at 7 p.m.; and Jan. 22, at 2 p.m., in the Hudson High School Mini-Theater, 69 Brigham St. The shows are interactive as the troupe will be relying on audience participation for ideas, situations, and even participation in certain games.

Tickets are $5 for adults and students and may be purchased at the door.
