Marlborough/Hudson – It will be more difficult for those looking to buy illegal drugs in the Marlborough area after a large-scale drug sweep by the Marlborough and Hudson police Jan. 18.
Thirty-eight people were arrested on charges, including drug possession, trafficking, intimidation of witnesses and conspiracy. Officials said during the months-long investigation, undercover officers and informants bought controlled substances such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin, Ecstasy and prescription pills from the alleged dealers. Warrants have been issued for additional suspects.
