Westborough – Westborough Girl Scout Troop 30508 recently met with Christina Papadopoulos from Westborough DPW to learn about storm water pollution. The girls did experiments and made posters to inform others about storm water pollution.
Papadopoulos discussed the issue of dumping down storm drains, where the water goes once in the storm drains, and how to protect the water.
The troop is planning to tape a PSA at Westborough TV to inform the community of this important issue. Papadopoulos met with the Westborough Girl Scout volunteers recently do discuss the many programs and opportunities for troops to engage in concerning storm water.
