Marlborough – William H. “Bill” Teele Jr. 73, died at home with his family at his side Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 after a battle with lung cancer. He was the husband of Sandra J. (Boulay) Teele for the last 18 years.
He was born raised and educated in Acton, the son of the late William H. and Katherine (Muise) Teele.
Mr. Teele owned and operated Telco Siding and B&T Siding for many years. He was a member of the Moose Family Center and achieved the degree of Pilgrim in 1997. He was the Massachusetts and Rhode Island President in 1999. He was an honorary member of the AmVets Post 1980 and enjoyed golfing, bowling and softball.
He leaves three sons, Gary Teele of Virginia and Kenneth Teele and Keith Teele, both of Marlborough; two stepsons, Thomas Maddox of Hudson and Robert Cummings of Fitchburg; two daughters, Penny Pearson of Marlborough and Holly Wagner of Tampa, Florida; two stepdaughters, Michelle Maddox of Bolton and Pamela Santella of Marlborough; three sisters, Janice Torppa and Marjorie Blunk, both of Hernando, Florida, and Doreen Fillmore of Boxborough; 20grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. He was the brother of the late Betty Torppa of Maynard.
Mr. Teele donated his body to the Harvard Medical School Anatomical Gift Program with the hope that this gift might help others in years to come. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, Feb. 3, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Moose Family Center, 67 Fitchburg St., Marlborough. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln St., Marlborough.
