Westborough – Louise V. Brown, 85, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012 at the Epoch Healthcare Center in Providence, R.I.
Born in Westborough, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Fitzpatrick) Brown and was educated in Westborough schools. During the Korean Conflict she served with the United States Navy.
Ms. Brown was employed as an executive secretary at the Natick Labs for many years prior to her retirement. She was a communicant of St. Luke the Evangelist Church in Westborough. In 2010, she was honored as the Grand Marshall of the Memorial Day Parade in Westborough.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, and one great-great-grandniece. She was predeceased by five brothers, William, Charles, Walter, Leo, and Richard Brown, and four sisters, Margaret Belli, Mary Ustoitis, Irene Bukata, and Ann Van Houten.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Feb. 13, at 10:30 a.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, Feb. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
