Budding artists paint pottery
Shrewsbury – (l to r) Caroline Sugiue, 8, Abi Edren-Fortin, 9, and Andrea Liu, 9, work on their projects during the Jan. 31 session of Pottery Classes, offered in conjunction with the Shrewsbury Recreation Department at Claytime Studio. Throughout the four-week course, Claytime staff member Kerry Serra taught children ages 7 to 12 different techniques as they painted unfinished pieces of pottery, which were glazed and fired in a kiln.
