New Emergency Department clinical director joins Marlborough Hospital

Marlborough – Karen O. Moore, president and CEO of Marlborough Hospital, has announced that Mark A. Tuttle, RN, has been selected as the new director of Emergency Services at Marlborough Hospital.

Before joining Marlborough Hospital, Tuttle was the Emergency Department nurse manager and the Information Systems support liaison at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital in Ware for the past three years. Prior to that position, he was the Information Services Training team manager for the Baystate Health Care system.

Before joining the Baystate Health Care system, Tuttle had a distinguished career in the military obtaining the rank of Captain in the U.S. Air Force. He was an emergency nurse and a member of the newly developed Critical Care Air Transport Team, evacuating critically injured personnel worldwide as part of the mission of the 59th Medical Operations Group based out of Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

Tuttle is a resident of Barre, where he lives with his wife and three children.
