Sudbury – The Sudbury Savoyards, a theater group that performs Gilbert and Sullivan comic operas, have announced their performance schedule of “Ruddigore” for February and March. Ruddigore includes cases of mistaken (or misrepresented) identity, star-crossed would-be lovers, confusion of rank, the proud military men, the honorable British tar, the crowd of young women who would seem out of place anywhere else, and (of course) the twist at the end that makes “All Right in the World.”
A dress rehearsal performance will take place Feb. 23, at 8 p.m., at Lincoln-Sudbury High School. All seats will cost $15 or $12 for children.
An 8 p.m. show will be held Feb. 24, 25 and March 2 at Lincoln-Sudbury High School. A matinee performance will take place Feb. 26 at 2 p.m., while the March 3 show will be performed at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets for all these shows are $22 for adults, $17 for seniors and students, and $12 children under 12.
The Lincoln-Sudbury High School is located at 390 Lincoln Rd., Sudbury. For tickets or more information, visit www.sudburysavoyards.org or call 978-443-8811.
