Westborough – Boston Interiors, a Stoughton-based furniture store chain, celebrated the grand opening of its new Westborough store Feb. 11. Family, friends, customers and town officials gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially open the store, which is located at 200 Union St., in the Bay State Commons.

The chain's former Westborough store was located on Route 9. Ken Loring, the company's president , said he was excited about the new location.

“It's night and day from where we were,” he said. “I have a great team of people that have been working so hard on this project. I couldn's have done this without them. ”

Before the ribbon cutting ceremony, Lydia Goldblatt, the chair of the Westborough Board of Selectmen and Town Planner Jim Robbins, first made brief remarks. They congratulated the company on its new location and thanked them for continuing to be part of the Westborough business community.

Employees of the new store then gathered around Loring and cheered as he cut the ceremonial ribbon.

“This is going to be our best store yet!” he said.
