Shrewsbury – Paula D. Shumway, 64, died at home Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012.
She leaves behind her son, Matthew C. Kendall and his wife Elizabeth of Goodyear, Ariz.; one sister, Kathy Lewis and her husband Steven of Stafford Springs, Conn.; one brother, Donald Shumway of Railroad Flat, Cal.; six grandchildren; a niece and nephew; and her dog, Ginger.
Born in Worcester and raised in Northborough, she was the daughter of the late Milton D. and Helen (Chapdelaine) Shumway. She graduated from Algonquin Regional High School in 1965 and was a longtime employee at the former Sweetlife Grocers in Northborough.
The past 10 years, she had been a clerk for the Westborough District Court. She was a private person, who was loving and very generous.
Funeral services are private.
