Northborough – Frank P. Losapio, 68, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Patricia J. (Gallicchio) Losapio; his daughter, Linda Nusum and her husband Louis of Worcester; his son, Frank P. Losapio Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Wellesley; and four grandchildren, Erica and Joshua Nusum of Worcester and Anthony and Maria Losapio of Wellesley.
Born in Worcester, the son of the late Frank G. and Eva (Patruno) Losapio, he graduated from Shrewsbury High School. He later moved to Northborough in 1974, where he had resided ever since.
Mr. Losapio worked as a senior mail clerk for Fidelity Investments for 10 years. He previously worked in copy services for Digital Corporation.
He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church of Northborough and was also a former member of the Lion's Club in Westborough.
The Losapio family would like to thank Dr. George Eypper, Dr. Jefferey Stoff, and their staff at UMass Medical Center for the outstanding care given to Mr. Losapio in his time of need.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, from the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 244 West Main St., Northborough. A period of calling hours will be held Friday, Feb. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m., in the funeral home.
