Hudson – An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Friday, Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at AIS Company. The drive is open to the public and residents from all surrounding towns are invited to participate. Appointments are proffered, but walk-ins are also welcome.
All donors will receive a free Boston Bruins t-shirt, as well as receive a voucher for a free tax return from Liberty Tax.
The Red Cross has to collect 3,000 pints of blood everyday to meet the basic needs of patients throughout the New England region. If you are in good health, weigh 100 lbs. or more, and have not given blood in the past 56 days, you may try to donate. Positive ID is required before donating, and potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16-year-olds can donate with a signed parental consent form).
