Shrewsbury – The Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library is pleased to announce the sponsorship of its annual scholarship. The scholarship, in the amount of $1,000, will be awarded to a student residing in Shrewsbury, graduating from a local public or private high school this school year, and continuing his/her education the following academic year as a full-time student working toward a bachelor's or associate's degree.
The application deadline is Saturday, March 24.
Scholarship applications may be picked up at the following high schools” guidance departments: Shrewsbury High School, Assabet Valley Regional Technical, St John's, Holy Name, St. Peter-Marian, Worcester Academy, Bancroft School, Worcester Vocational and Notre Dame Academy, along with at the Shrewsbury Public Library and the library's website.
