“Despite the warm winter, SOAR has been bombarded with requests for assistance this year,” Masiello said. “The decrease in Federal Fuel Assistance coupled with the poor economy has led to a very substantial increase in the number of people seeking emergency aid.”
All donations to the SOAR Program benefit families in Shrewsbury in need of oil.
