Patrick A. Tomaiolo, 37Shrewsbury – Patrick A. Tomaiolo, of Shrewsbury and West Yarmouth, died unexpectedly at home Friday, February 24, 2012. He was 37.

Born on March 1, 1974 in Worcester, a son of Dr. Peter P. and Phyllis M. (Beaudry) Tomaiolo, he was raised in Shrewsbury and graduated from Saint John's High School, class of 1992. He then earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Saint Anselm College in 1996.

His professional career began shortly after college when he took a position with The Robb Report. He loved his work as account manager for advertising and sales because his work encompassed his passions in life which included luxury boats and automobiles. The Robb Report showcases the products and services available from the most prestigious brands and items around the globe. Recently, he was working in the office alongside his parents in his father's gastroenterology practice in Worcester.

Described as outgoing, personable and a loveable guy who was always willing to help anyone, Mr. Tomaiolo loved life. Happiest when on the beach and time on Cape Cod, he made the Cape his home for over 10 years. Talented and knowledgeable, he had the ability to fix anything. He had patience, insight and intuition and was always up for a challenge if asked to help.

And, in so much as he loved life, it came with its challenges, often times beyond his control, he did his absolute best to live productively, contribute to society, and be a part of his family who loved him dearly and loyal to his friends. It wasn’t always easy and his struggles at times were immense. “We believe Patrick now knows peace in mind, body and spirit.”

In addition to his parents, Dr. Peter P. and Phyllis M. (Beaudry) Tomaiolo of Shrewsbury, he leaves his brother, Michael J. Tomaiolo of Worcester, and his sister, Dr. Alissa L. Tomaiolo – Lamoureux and her husband, Michael, of Lake Worth, Florida; his grandmother, Louise (Aspero) Tomaiolo of Shrewsbury; aunts, uncles, cousins; and a host of friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Dr. Pasquale Tomaiolo, Anthony and Louise (Caputo) Beaudry.
