Southborough – James W. Hong, 43, formerly of Boston, lost his courageous battle with lung cancer Thursday, March 1, 2012. He died peacefully with dignity, surrounded by his family.

He was the beloved and adored husband of Suzanne Brown Hong and irreplaceable Daddy to Corey, Chloe, and Haley. He was the much loved son of Beck Fong Hong of Boston and the late Leung Hong and brother to Philip Hong and his wife Kim, Karen Wong and her husband Henry, William Hong and his wife Lillie, and Linda Dennis and her husband Tony. He had wonderful nieces and nephews, Rilie and Hannah Brown, Oscar and Owen Hong, and Isabelle Hong, and cherished friends, Ashesh and Louise Shah and their children, Isabelle and Maxamillian.

Mr. Hong will be best remembered for his kind, generous heart of gold, and he cared deeply for his family and friends. He was a child at heart and truly enjoyed the small things in life. The ultimate sports fan, he loved cheering on the Patriots, Red Sox, Bruins and Celtics. He enjoyed playing golf, hockey, cooking, and spending lazy summer days in Rockport.

Although he departed out of our lives far too soon, he will live in our hearts forever!

Visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 6, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Morris Funeral Home, 40 Main St. (Route 30), Southborough. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 7, at 10 a.m., at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 27 Main St., Southborough. Burial will follow in the Southborough Rural Cemetery.
