CWE presents “Pathways to Business Ownership” March 30Westborough – The Center for Women & Enterprise will present “Pathways to Business Ownership” Friday, March 30 from 9 to 11 a.m. Middlesex Savings Bank, Operations Center, 120 Flanders Rd. in Westborough, is hosting the entrepreneur discussion and networking program.

What path will you choose? Are you considering entrepreneurship, but aren’t sure whether to build a business independently? Come learn from a dynamic panel of local women entrepreneurs about the different avenues for beginning your business. They will discuss how they decided which path to take, whether it's starting from scratch as a sole proprietor, LLC or a corporation. Learn what motivated them, what challenges they faced, how they grew and what techniques they used to stay in business.

The moderator will be Jeannie Hebert, president and CEO of Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the panelist speakers include Darcy Cook, president and CEO of Cook Professional Resources, Inc. DBA Safety Trainers; Marianne Lancaster, president and CEO of Lancaster Packaging; Cynthia Normandin, president and owner Normandin Transportation Services Inc.; and Melanie Peddle, co-founder and general partner of Look At Me Designs.
