Northborough – On March 3, the Northborough Public Library hosted a “Dads and Donuts,” program for fathers and their young children. Children's librarian Laura Brennan arranged the creative and informative half-hour reading program just for fathers.

“I decided that I don's see many dads as much as I see moms and nannies,” she said. “It is a nice way to bring fathers into the library to spend time with their children.”

The Dads and Donuts program will be held once a month and will be announced on the library's website and in the monthly newsletter.

The program includes a current children's story read by Brennan while guests feast on a wide array of delectable doughnuts and coffee. Tables are set up with crayons and coloring activities for children to enjoy.
