Northborough – Eve (Zukowsky) Todd passed away at home Wednesday, March 7, 2012 surrounded by her family, whom she loved dearly. Her husband, William E. Todd, passed away in 1987.
She leaves her son William J. Gangnon and his wife Shirley of Worcester; a daughter- in-law, Joyce Gagnon of Shrewsbury; her sister Ann and her husband Floyd Merriam of Canterbury, Conn.; her brother, Raymond Zukowsky of Worcester; three grandchildren, Faith Gangnon Wise, James F. Gangnon of Worcester, and Daniel W. Gangnon of Northborough; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward Zukowsky, Alben Zukofsky, George Zukowsky and Frank Zukowski, and her two sons, Lee F. Gagnon of Shrewsbury and Daniel T. Gangnon.
Born in Worcester, daughter of the late Anastasia and Anthony Zukowsky, she moved to Northborough in 1952. She was a member of the Northborough Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Mrs. Todd retired from working at U.S. Envelope in Worcester after working there for 27 years. She most recently worked at CVS in Northborough.
The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at St. Vincent Hospital and the VNA nursing staff for their kind and caring attention given to Mrs. Todd in her time of need.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, March 8, from 5 to 8 p.m., in Hays Funeral Home, 56 Main St., Northborough. Her funeral service will be held Friday, March 9, at 10 a.m., in Hays Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Howard Street Cemetery.
