Northborough – On March 9, the Northborough Public Library hosted a “Kids Yoga,” program for young children and their parents. Yoga instructor Linda Davis, of Charlton, teaches yoga for families ages 5 and up.
“I teach yoga to preschool children, parents and even grandparents,” Davis said. “Yoga for preschoolers is fast-paced, and a lot of fun. I try to get the children to imitate animals while they are doing yoga, such as making “hissing noises,” while they are doing the cobra pose. This is not a quiet class!”
Children's librarian Laura Brennan hopes to continue hosting the classes once a month based on participation.
