Marlborough – Saturday, March 10, Saturday Morning Discovery Series presents Dream Tale Puppets with the classic story of Jack and the Beanstalk. Once upon a time poor Jack went to sell his cow and got three magic beans for her. Come and see what happens when mom throws the beans out of the window only to discover that during the night they grew into a giant beanstalk. One Dream Tale performer provides narration and gives voice to the characters and a second performer operates hand puppets and finger puppets and performs in mask.
The Saturday Morning Discovery Series is back this winter with free entertainment for family audiences at the Marlborough Senior Center, 250 Main St. The delightful series will present a variety of performers through April 7. Shows begin at 11 a.m.
The series is presented by the Arts Alliance and the City of Marlborough with support from the Ezra M. Cutting Trust, Bank of America, N.A., Trustee, Avidia Bank, Ken's Foods, Allied Waste Services of Tyngsboro, Woodard and Curran, Marlborough Savings Bank and St. Mary's Credit Union.
