Banking at school
Shrewsbury – Learning how to be a bank teller for the day, fourth-grader Elijah Baron processes a $10 deposit for another student's savings account during Banking at School, held at Spring Street Elementary School. Lori Gentile of Central One Federal Credit Union is helping students in kindergarten through fourth grade learn the importance of savings as they deposit regularly into their actual accounts. The program began mid-November 2011 and will continue every other week through early June.
