Sudbury – Sudbury Valley Trustees is once again hosting artist Cecilia Sharma's Watercolor Workshop. If ever you wanted to discover your artistic side, this class is a perfect gateway.
Come and enjoy individual hands-on instruction with an emphasis on developing textures, washes, shapes and creating the illusion of light. This workshop will include painting demonstrations that will teach you how to explore your own personal painting style. Beginners are welcome.
The classes will be held Tuesday mornings, from 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., beginning March 20 and running through April 24, at Wolbach Farm in Sudbury. The fee is $80 for SVT members, $100 for non-members. The fee does not include materials.
Sharma is an accomplished artist, painter, and designer with years of experience in graphic design, watercolors, silk, and oil. Her work has been showcased at various exhibitions and in several newspapers. Studying at UCLA, the Center for the Media Arts, N.Y., and at the National Institute of Design in India, she has an entire decade of art related academics behind her. She has won awards for her designs and her work has been exhibited at the Danforth Museum of Art in Framingham, the Emerson Umbrella Center for the Arts in Concord, the Atelier 10 gallery in Maynard, Hosmer House in Sudbury, and the Carnegie Center in Princeton, N.J.
