Northborough – Seniors from Northborough and surrounding towns, gathered at the Proctor Elementary School March 15 to enjoy a luncheon filled with colorful artwork and music.
Principal Margaret Donohue explained.
“Every year one of the Northborough schools hosts a luncheon for seniors,” she said. “The children were excited that our school was able to host this year.”
Students, assisted by the art department, made colorful placemats and centerpieces, and third-grade students sang a variety of toe-tapping songs accompanied by their music teacher. During their musical performance, the children incorporated sign language to aid the hard of hearing.
