David B. Osborne, 61Hudson – David B. Osborne, 61, died at his residence Friday, March 16, 2012, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary (Longhi) Osborne of Hudson.

Born and raised in Englewood, N.J., son of the late Bayard and Ann (Livingston) Osborne, he graduated from high school in Alabama and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army. He resided in Virginia for a short time before moving to Hudson, where he lived the past 35-plus years.

Mr. Osborne was most recently employed by the Sunshine Taxi Co. of Hudson as a driver until he retired in 2010. He was a member of the Hudson AMVETS and the Hudson Elks, and enjoyed many outdoor activities including fishing and camping.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his three children, Brian Osborne of Marlborough, Emily LaFountaine and her husband Micheal, and Erin Trento and her husband Carlos, all of Hudson. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Carmino “Moose” Longhi; two brothers, Raymond Osborne of California and Alan Osborne of Pennsylvania; his sister, Nancy Bowen of Kansas; and his two grandchildren, Mikey and Mia LaFountaine.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, March 20, at 9 a.m., in Saint Michael's Church, 21 Manning St., Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Calling hours will be held Monday, March 19, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central Street, Hudson.
