Mildred A. Crue, 70Hudson – Mildred A. “Millie” (Mauro) Crue, 70, died Friday, March 16, 2012 at Marlborough Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Crue of Hudson.

Born and raised in Concord, daughter of the late Nicholas and Antoinette Mauro, she was employed for many years as a clerk with the former Reservoir Printing Co. in Marlborough, retiring in 2004. She was a longtime resident of Hudson and member of the Hudson Eagles, Moose Lodge of Marlborough, and the Hudson AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her adopted daughter and caregiver, Magan (Houde) Daigle of Maine; her children, William McCarthy of Hudson, Jerry McCarthy of Maynard, and Nanette Russello of Greenfield; her step-children, Jason Crue of Worcester, Matthew Crue of Worcester, and Caryn Crue-Happy of Sterling; her sister, Margaret Mauro of Florida; and her brother, Fred Perry of New Hampshire. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, David McCarthy, in 2009, and was the sister of the late Rosalei Figueroa, Pat Kjersgard, and Laura Miles.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service Wednesday, March 21, at 11 a.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St., Hudson. Burial services will follow in Forestvale Cemetery of Hudson. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, March 20, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
