Hudson – Now that good weather has arrived, the town of Hudson Park Commission/Division of Recreation wishes to remind residents of important by-laws on dog waste and littering in public spaces.
Dog waste must be picked up and disposed of in a sanitary manner by any person owning or having the care, custody, or control of any dog on any sidewalk, gutter, thoroughfare, beach or wetland, public park, school property, conservation land, and other public property. Hudson also has a leash law.
No person shall place or cause to be placed in any public street, private way, or in any running stream or body of water dirt, rubbish, wood, timber, garbage, or other materials.
The town of Hudson can impose fines for violations of its public space by-laws.
