Shrewsbury – Kenneth Webster Sr., 79, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012, surrounded by family, in the Shrewsbury Nursing Home. His wife, Lois Ann (Frongillo) Webster, passed away in 1999.
He is survived by his two devoted sons, Kenneth Webster Jr. and his wife, Susan Eramo-Webster, of Shrewsbury and Scott A. Webster and his wife, Lynn, of Westborough; seven grandchildren; and extended family and friends. A brother, Ralph Webster Jr. predeceased him.
Born in Springfield, a son of Ralph W. Webster Sr. and Frances (Lyons) Webster, he grew up in Millbury and joined the U.S. Air Force to serve his country during the Korean War. He had lived in Worcester and North Adams before moving to Shrewsbury.
Mr. Webster worked as a department supervisor for the Big D and Wonder supermarkets for over 30 years before retiring.
He loved New England Sports, especially the Red Sox and Patriots, and to fish and read.
Funeral services and burial will be held privately. There are no calling hours. The Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel of Worcester is assisting with arrangements.
