Sterling – An event to benefit the David Malo Fund will be held Saturday, May 5, at 6 p.m., at 8 Point Sportsmen's Club, 147 Beaman Rd., Sterling. Malo, a lifelong resident of Sterling, is battling stage 4 kidney cancer.
There will be a silent auction, raffles, prizes, hot and cold hors” d'seuvres, and music. All proceeds will benefit David Malo and his family.

Monetary donations and donations that can be used as silent auction items, raffles, and prizes, such as gift certificates for gas, restaurants, stores, and any in-kind donations are being sought for the benefit.
